So now when you want cream of mushroom soup I'm forced to make it from scratch. Not a big deal really, as it's not time consuming and the flavour is 1000 times better than the canned stuff.
I try different recipes all of the time and this one from Hungry Cravings blog caught my eye as it has very little cream in it. The only thing I would change up on this soup is to saute some mushrooms and leave them in the soup rather than blend them all in just for some texture.

I love that soup tureen. I've been looking for one that is a little modern but will be timeless as well.
ReplyDeleteI never buy canned soup anymore - it's so full of sodium and other crap that it just tasted yucky to me. Homemade soup rocks!
